Windows Live Messenger is an instant messaging service from Microsoft for its Windows users. This program helps the users in staying in touch with their friends and family through instant messaging. The users can share images music and video files through the instant messaging service. Contacts can be added for chatting with them.

ñ  Click the Windows Start menu

ñ  Click All Programs.

ñ  Select Windows Live Messenger to launch the messaging program.

ñ  Right click the contact you want to block and click Block Contact.

ñ  Once you block a contact, that person is unable to see you when you are online or contact you.

ñ  To delete a contact, right click the contact you want to delete and,

ñ  Select Also block this contact and select the Also remove from my Hotmail contacts if you want to remove the contact from Hotmail.

ñ  Click Delete Contact again to remove the contact.

These steps will block and delete the contact from the user’s Windows Live Messenger. The blocked contact will not be able to see the user when online and vice versa. If you want to remove the blocking, right click the contact and select unblock. If you deleted the contact, you will have o add it again.
