Who wouldn’t agree that the world is busy as the people are getting busier? My brother and I have got separate PCs in our rooms as we are individually busy. To make things easier we had Home Network set up for printer and other devices. However, I had issues with my Home Area Network on my Windows 7 operating system. I reached out to the Windows online support for help.

Enable work Group name with the help of the Windows online support
When we first set-up HAN, me and my brother were having so many issues with it. We were nearly frantic when Windows Online Support pointed out the cause. If the computers in the home network use different operating systems, you will have to organize them. The support team says that in order to do the same you will have to give in the same workgroup name. The steps to find and change workgroup are as follows:
- In Windows & and Vista, enter System in search box of Control Panel. Workgroup name will be given under computer name.
- For Windows XP, go to Control Panel select Performance and Maintenance.
Click System and open Computer Name and find Workgroup name.
With the help of the Windows online support we can experience a problem free home network.
